In southern Africa we are personally involved with the destination management and for our worldwide products we use well established professionals in each country who have been personally selected by us.
Our History
Golf Gourmet grew from pioneering golf vacations to Southern Africa in 1988 to an international golf and safari tour operator worldwide.
Our CEO Patrick Barta led the way for golf holidays in South Africa. During the past three decades, he has travelled to all corners of the world playing great golf courses, experiencing the cultures, adventures and cuisine of many wonderful countries and destinations. In addition, having grown up in Africa, the love of wildlife and natured was almost inbred. This first-hand experience has enabled us to select the perfect safari option to suit our clients requirements.
The wonderful benefit of being both inbound as well as outbound operators is that it creates a two way reciprocal relationship with our partners to look after each others clients throughout the world and thereby ensuring the service of well-established professionals.
